Manufacturing Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:   Consult with project engineering, sales and customers regarding manufacturing capabilities Assessriskand provide solutions on technical challenges from customers Perform blueprint/drawing/contract review to allow proper planning and inspection Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods and work flow Write and maintain Work instructions, BOMs, process specifications and reports Design tooling and fixtures and provide written instructions and training on their use Help resolve bottlenecks in production Interface with suppliers to secure services necessary to meet customer requirements. Support other departments regarding productionschedules and other considerations to facilitate productionprocesses Provide technical review for QC, non-conformances and CAPAs Provide data driven analysis to manufacturing issues Implement various reporting tools and/or techniques Assist in communicating data to target audiences and Facilitate/empower response to data findings Drive local facility operations initiatives such as Continuous process improvement; LEAN objectives Efficiency metrics derived from analyzing process variables Other tasks as required by the Manager of Process/Manufacturing Engineering Foster strong collaboration between all departments within Operations Demonstrates commitment to Stratasys Core Values by leading, acting and behaving in a manner consistent with these values. Follows all company safety policies and procedures and attends all safety trainings related to the job. Other duties as assigned.   Essential Education, Skills and Experience:   Basic Qualifications: (absolute minimum requirements for the role; measurable and/or quantifiable) Due to the nature of products made at Stratasys Direct Manufacturing, the incumbent is required to be a US citizen or Permanent Resident Alien Four-yeardegree in mechanical engineering and a minimum of 5 years combined experience in engineering and/or manufacturing operations with a working knowledge of polymer materials and design for manufacturing in additive and conventional manufacturing industries Experience designing complex 3D parts/mechanical systems in CAD, generating technical drawings; proficient in GD&T Structured problem solving skills including demonstrated use of DMAIC, Root Cause analysis, SPC, FMEA, Fish-Bone diagrams, 5 Whys, etc... Computer proficiency with MS Office and Solidworks; pivot tables and extensive formula use in Excel required Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Strong relational skills both inter-personal and organizational.  Experience with cross cultural communication/collaboration In depth knowledge of Rapid Prototyping/Additive Mfg industry and technologies (polymer specific) Demonstrated experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing principles   Preferred Qualifications: (would add value to the role) Experience with PPAP packages, control plans and design of experiments desired Experience with Aerospace and Medical Device specs and regulations desired Proficiency with Python programming language desired Well versed in polymer material science   Ability to work well with others.   Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct reports   Physical/Environmental Requirements: Works in both a pleasant office environment with other department staff, as well as on the manufacturing floor utilizing a computer workstation and various software applications. You will be exposed to noise, chemical, dust and machinery. Specific work schedule is coordinated with direct supervisor Travel requirement: 10 %

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
