This individual will develop, maintain, and interact with new prospects and existing customers to maintain and increase the company's customer base and to achieve rental, sales, and service revenue goals.
They will also establish new accounts by marketing company product lines and offering value-added services.

Responsibilities:
Assists walk-in customers and callers with counter sales & technical support Demonstrates products to customers Distributes promotional literature to customers and assists with sales and marketing initiatives to increase market share Formulates bids on new and existing jobs and projects Identifies and acquires new service contract opportunities Receives customer orders and serves as the customer contact point Generates a referral network to assist in increasing the client base Occasionally assists in familiarizing customer on equipment and vehicles Aids in implementing, sustaining, and developing quality improvement processes that focus on safety, financials, operations, and customer service Maintains records of sales or other business transactions Prepare sales or other contracts Performs other duties as assigned Education and
Experience:
Minimum of three years' of work-related skill and knowledge experience High school diploma or equivalent with some college coursework or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred Valid driver's license Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of applicable accounting principles, budget preparation, and business acumen Demonstrated knowledge of construction equipment and rental industry Excellent selling, negotiating, and closing skills with ability to build long term business relationships Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Understands the implications of new information for both current and future problem- solving and decision-making Job Type:
