Responsibilities:
Develop a suite of automated functional, integration tests to increase software quality. Leverage a combination of automation tools to develop regression tests on an incremental basis and operate in a fast-based Agile environment. Employ automation techniques including screen recording, data-driven, and object-based scripting to expand automation capabilities on modernization initiatives. Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
-5 to 7 years of direct QA experience for full end-to-end implementation including independent creation of test cases, test validation, requirements review, Regression testing and UAT support -Strong 'hands on' experience developing software tests for functional, performance, and regression testing that include automated, ad-hoc, and manual testing elements -Knowledge and experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Build and Continuous Deployment Practice, Tools and trends -Experience with writing test plan, test cases, and executing manual or automated test scripts. -Experience with developing and configuring automated test scripts and maintaining automated test and test environments. -Experience with SDLC, STLC and implementing incremental automation test scripts in an agile team. -Experience in Creating, Modifying and Maintaining new and existing Automation Framework Models using BDD, TDD techniques. -Knowledge of automation tools including Selenium, Protractor, TestNG and industry best practices to successfully integrate in a client development environment. -Experience with Java or other Programming Language. -Exposure to backend services/microservices testing. -Experience in API automation test development and strategies. -Experience with DevOps concepts and integrating regression tests as part of the CI/CD pipeline and build process. -Experience in Gherkin language using cucumber tool and reporting. Possess good analytical and communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a good team player. -Experience with AWS. -Accurately and clearly document system defects. -Experience supporting User Acceptance testing effort by user training and developing test artifacts Identifies innovative solutions to solve complex test problems. -Assists in the training/mentoring of team members, including testers, developers, and business analysts. -Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. -Must be a self-starter/self-directed member of the team. -Ability to manage multiple task assignments EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information System or related field Post-graduate degreedesired
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
