Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX, part of Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a full time Registered Nurse to join our brand new Transitional Care Unit. Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.


Schedule:
Full Time - Nights - 36 hours per week


Unit Summary


Exciting new department at Medical Center Temple offering the opportunity to work in a fast pace ever changing patient care environment.


You never experience the same day twice!


This 10-bed nursing unit provides the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment working with multiple patients requiring a variety of care needs. The goal for these patients is to diagnose, monitor and treat patients within 36 hours.


If you are an experienced Med/Surg RN (Registered Nurse) this is a great place to use all of your skills! If you like to be busy and enjoy a challenging fast pace this is the department for you!


The conditions that are within the scope of service for the Transitional Care Unit include but are not limited to the following:




  • chest pain

  • CHF

  • syncope

  • dehydration

  • abdominal-gastrointestinal conditions

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
