We are looking for a Production Worker to join our team to assist in the manufacture, processing and assembly of our training products prior to shipping to students.
We are a small start-up medical training equipment manufacturer with a huge potential for fast growth! The job involves standing on your feet for extended periods during the shift.
Includes mixing products to make foam, urethane rubber and silicon, and then filling a mold with the foam and urethane material.
After the molds are set, you will open the molds and retrieve parts taking some care not to tear or damage finished products.
The role also involves trimming, painting and packaging of finished parts, as well as general duties as required.
This job is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8-5.
The job is simple and repetitive as stated above but requires being able to follow instructions to measure out the correct products used to make the molds, and attention to detail to ensure quality products are being produced.
Being able to work quickly and precisely is important.
Base Pay is $15 an hour, with a $2 per hour bonus for meeting standard quotas, and an additional $2 per hour for overachievement in production.
Responsibilities:
- Operate simple hand tools and power tools to mix products to create final parts - Follow production instructions to ensure good quality parts are produced - Inspect finished products for quality assurance - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Assist with inventory management and warehouse duties as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred - Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment - Ability to read, interpret and follow production instructions - Strong attention to detail and quality control - Basic knowledge of warehouse operations
